Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Brevity AI at usebrevity.co(the "Service") operated by Brevity AI("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Brevity AI is an AI video creation studio and related asset workspace. Features may include script generation, voice synthesis, image and video generation, brand-kit tools, media library storage, and export — subject to your plan and available credits. We may add, change, or retire features as the product evolves.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date
You are responsible for all activity under your account — protect your credentials and notify us promptly of unauthorised access
One person or legal entity per account unless we agree otherwise in writing

3. Plans, credit packs & billing

Plans

Paid plans grant a monthly credit pool. Each generation uses credits based on the selected model, duration, and features. Current credit grants, plan features, renewal terms, and live prices are shown before checkout.

Credit packs

One-time credit packs add purchased credits that roll over and do not expire. Pack credits can be used for eligible stock-led production; an active subscription is required for AI-generated footage and other plan-gated features.

Merchant of Record

Payments are processed by Stripe Managed Payments as Merchant of Record. They collect payment, handle EU VAT where applicable, and issue invoices. Your purchase is also subject to their terms and privacy policy. Billing support: support@usebrevity.co.

Money-back guarantee

If stated at purchase, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription charge. Contact support@usebrevity.co within that window. Refunds are processed through Stripe Managed Payments. Abuse of this policy may result in account closure.

Renewal & cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled via your billing portal or by contacting support. Monthly plan credits reset at each billing cycle and do not roll over. Purchased pack credits roll over and do not expire. Cancellation stops future subscription charges; access continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Violate any law or third-party rights (including IP, privacy, and publicity)
Upload or generate illegal, harmful, harassing, deceptive, or non-consensual intimate content
Impersonate real individuals without consent, or create deepfakes intended to mislead
Probe, scrape, or overload the Service; circumvent usage limits or access controls
Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
Use the Service to build a competing model or dataset from our outputs at scale

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or pose risk to the Service or others.

5. Your content & intellectual property

Your inputs

You retain ownership of prompts, uploads, brand materials, and other content you provide ("Inputs"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit Inputs solely to operate the Service and fulfil your requests.

Outputs

Subject to these Terms and your plan, you receive commercial rights to outputs you generate through paid use of the Service, to the extent permitted by applicable law and third-party model terms. AI outputs may not be unique; similar results may be produced for other users.

Publishing to Explore

Generated videos are private unless you choose to publish a finished video to the public Explore gallery. When you publish, you confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for the output to be shown publicly, including for any people, brands, music, and source material it contains. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, stream, thumbnail, and display that output in Explore until you unpublish it. Publishing does not make your prompt, script, uploads, or account identity public, and it does not grant us permission to train models on your content.

Our IP

The Service, software, branding, and documentation remain our property or our licensors'. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or source code.

6. AI disclaimers

Outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your use case — review before publishing or advertising
You are responsible for compliance with advertising standards, platform policies, disclosure rules (including synthetic media labelling where required), and sector regulations
We do not guarantee specific performance, virality, revenue, or platform approval

7. Availability & support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages, and force majeure may cause downtime. Support is provided via support@usebrevity.co on a reasonable-efforts basis.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is". We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) €100, except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory consumer law.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or goodwill.

9. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your Inputs, Outputs, or use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, except where caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in settings. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, or risk to the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete data after a reasonable retention period except where law requires longer storage.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. If you disagree with changes, cancel before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EEA, you retain mandatory protections of your country of residence. Courts in Belgium have non-exclusive jurisdiction unless consumer law requires otherwise.
